Operations

Our Equipment Operators are enthusiastic, driven, and committed to ensuring safe operations and high level customer satisfaction.

Our operators are based in Townsville and undertake line haul and local trucking and on site logistics activities.  Primarily this involves operating, cleaning and maintaining Mack prime movers and trailers, reach stackers, forklifts, front end loader and excavator.

Our truck drivers have experience operating multi combination vehicles, specifically towing triple or quad road trains, and are qualified in dangerous goods transportation and basic fatigue management.

Our on site operators are experienced with operating various equipment used in the logistics activities to support the achievement of transporting nominated products.

Workshop

It’s important to Townsville Logistics that our service technicians are trained to be able to service and repair our equipment to a high standards, that’s why we take investing into our team seriously.

Our Service Technicians are trained to service equipment manufactured by Mack, Hendrickson, BPW and Wabco braking systems.

Due to Townsville Logistics having equipment that can be used in numerous operations, our Service Technicians require a sound understanding in mechanicals, auto electrics and hydraulics.

Also, to reduce downtime Townsville Logistics employs the use of diagnostic equipment and software to assist in servicing and repair.

Support

Our administration team provides effective and efficient support to internal and external customers in the areas of purchasing, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting and administration.
