Convoy for a Cure marks 10 Years

This year marks a decade of Convoy for a Cure, an incredible annual event raising vital funds for The Cure Starts Now Australia Cancer Foundation, the first cancer charity dedicated to eliminating all cancers.

Townsville Logistics is proud to take part in this inspiring event, joining the convoy with multiple trucks as we show our support for the cause.

“Convoy for a Cure is an event that means a lot to our team,” said Jessica Jenkins, Manager HR & Communications at Townsville Logistics.

“We’ve seen firsthand the impact that cancer has on families in our community, and we’re honoured to play a small role in raising funds for research that could make a real difference.”

Convoy for a Cure will start on Webb Drive on Sunday, 25 May, from 9am and the TL team encourages everyone to come along, cheer on the trucks, and show their support.

“We have 10 trucks representing TL this year which is really exciting...It’s an incredible sight to see so many trucks, drivers, and supporters coming together for this cause,” said Jessica.

“Every year, the convoy grows, and so does the generosity of the community.”
