Team TL rallies behind Liam at Castle Hill Foot Race

Townsville Logistics was proud to be part of the annual Castle Hill Foot Race on Sunday 7 June, with team members, friends and families coming together to support an important cause close to our hearts.

The event saw our team rally behind colleague Carolina Fernandez and her son Liam, who lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, as we raised awareness and support for the Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation.

One of the most memorable moments of the morning came as Team TL supported Liam up Castle Hill before crossing the finish line with him in his wheelchair, surrounded by cheers from participants, volunteers and spectators. It was a powerful display of teamwork, determination and community spirit that reflected the values we strive to live every day.

The Castle Hill Foot Race is a much-loved Townsville event that brings people together while supporting families impacted by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare genetic condition that causes progressive muscle weakness in children.

Townsville Logistics is proud to support initiatives that make a positive difference in our community, and we were honoured to stand alongside Carolina, Liam and the Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation.

We would like to thank everyone who participated, volunteered, donated and cheered our team on throughout the morning. Events like these remind us that when a community comes together, incredible things can happen.
