Townsville Logistics and Townsville Marine Logistics appoint Damien Scott as Chief Executive Officer

Townsville Logistics and Townsville Marine Logistics are pleased to announce the appointment of Damien Scott as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 August 2026.

Damien has been an integral part of the businesses since their establishment, playing a key role in their growth and success over the past eight years. Most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer, he has led the safe and efficient delivery of operations across road transport, stevedoring and logistics, while building strong relationships with customers, employees and industry partners.

With extensive experience across the logistics, stevedoring and intermodal rail sectors, Damien brings a deep understanding of the businesses, their customers and the industries they serve. Throughout his career, he has been recognised for his practical leadership, operational expertise and commitment to safety, customer service and continuous improvement.

Commenting on his appointment, Damien said:

Michael Choi will maintain his position as Chief Financial Officer at Sun Metals whilst working closely with Ron Lee to ensure a smooth leadership transition, in preparation for his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in the coming months.

With Damien stepping into the CEO role, Townsville Logistics and Townsville Marine Logistics are well positioned to continue building on their strong track record of delivering safe, reliable and innovative logistics solutions across North Queensland and beyond.
